meh, i are finally done with shopping for daniel’s prom outfit after two days of hunting and shall savour this moment of triumph *collapses* ahh daniel is going hongkong ;_; without me ;_;

since prom is coming promstuff should be numero uno on to-buy list but oh i really do want a pair of onitsuka tiger shoes ! sharing the shoes with my brother effectively means it’s a 50% off, i’m glad we are the same shoe size, but i don’t think i can afford even that right now.

i am a brandwhore so i feel rather bzzt if i were to settle for a brandless jacket of the perfect cutting and colour, which will cost roughly as much as the white armani belt i want to get o_o whoops. belt same price as jacke; now there’s a winner. i need a brown or black watch to complete the entire outfit but my dad’s vintage watches either stink like hell or smell horrible so i’ll have to borrow because i definitely do not want to spend money on watches.

am currently pwning at shawn’s place; just won three consecutive games noohahahaha. spent afternoon shopping with daniel and ivee for daniel’s prom clothes! daniel is very hard to match colours with =.= lol.

i suppose this is the part where i say something appropriate – it is, after all, the end of everything i’ve done the past two years. i’m just glad it ended on a good note, but i guess it isn’t really the end until the results come back.

meanwhile the reality of it all has yet to set in, and i’m not exactly relaxing and having wild crazy fun but yes, i am having fun and will be going out a lot :]

i’m listening to all my old band pieces again o.o ALVAMAR OVERTURE <3<3
i don’t even have to close my eyes to see everything before me again – the exact clarinetists who used to sit in front of the percussionists, and the french horn players to the left, flutists in front. it is all too clear in my head; every piece we used to rehearse over and over again, with ms tan screaming at us about missing parts/players because percussion was just too slack and too damn heck-care. and it so weird to be reminiscing now, at the end of two years in raffles junior college, when i didn’t even join the band here.

band chalet on monday night wasn’t exactly what i’d call fun, but i wouldn’t have traded it for anything else in the world. the usual things – pool, bridge, mahjong, supper, jesper and his stupid card tricks and me trying to read chem s in vain.

not like reading would have helped in any way at all for today’s paper – five out of eight, but i only managed to do four in the time given, so that’s twenty marks gone right off the bat. considering how i had to bullshit for quite a large portion, i’d say my chances at a merit are but slim.

i don’t know why i’ve been so drained lately; running off to bed at ten at night is so unlike me. perhaps the A-level is taking its toll on me only now, which is a fortunate thing, really.

yes, as stef says, entries of late have been insubstantial. i guess i got a bit tired of chronicling my life, or rather, what’s left of it – ravaged by exams, and on my way into national service. mmm, can’t wait -_- so many things i need to do – take up salsa, hiphop, figure-skating, french, japanese, and lose weight etc.

kelvinchew is vainpot <3<3 dyed hair and custom-made contact lenses for his prom lol i think i shall do that, too.
anyway i really don’t know if i’ll look good with ear piercing but nehmind, won’t die trying.
hair will contain streaks of red (: but not the ostentatious blood-red variety a la my bag.
which i will be selling soon either to raise more funds for prom clothes or a new crumpler bag o.o
you should by now be acutely aware that i am someone who will die utterly penniless (y) as a ‘btw’ kind of information new pair of david bitton buffalo designer jeans just set me back by $360 IF IT WASN’T FOR FIFTY PERCENT OFF so i spent $180, only. cheap, right. unfortunate thing is that i may not be wearing it to prom after all if i cannot find a shirt of matching colour because i’ve already decided on off-white jacket.

also, i am unsure as to what kind of shoes i should get because of low budget. or rather, not-so-low-budget that’s already been pulverised thanks to ‘the phantom of the opera’ tickets that cost me $160 so i am currently drowning in a truckload of debt ;_; maybe i should sell my clavinova because i can’t play anything well -_- am currently trying to learn some pieces but oh i am completely hopeless. one week to master one page should take me just slightly over a month, i guess.

since 3e – by no fault of mine, nor anyone’s – has got no chalet whatsoever i’d actually like to go overseas for a bit. uncle living in US has invited me over to stay with his family for a bit! i hope that’ll work out :] i don’t exactly want my parents paying for my trip but OH I AM FLAT BROKE. living off tree bark and leaves should help, and is totally in line with dieting plans (y)
